FCC Investigations Analyst - Compliance


Malaga - Hybrid (4 days per week in office, 1 day from home)


We are looking for a proactive candidate who can summarise complex issues for busy, senior individuals. The role would suit someone with corporate investigations experience or a legal background.


The Role


Headquartered in London and with 40+ offices worldwide, the firm is a Global FinTech provider that aims to apply new technologies to enhance and automate financial services and processes. This enables small and medium-sized businesses to trade and transact internationally by eliminating the boundaries associated with traditional procedures.


As an FCC Investigations analyst, you will work in the Financial Crime Compliance department in the firm’s Malaga office.


Role Requirements:



  • Minimum 2 years of Investigative experience (Financial Crime Investigations experience ideal but not essential)

  • Experience using investigative tools, such as Orbis, LexisNexis, and open source resources

  • Experience identifying and investigating red flag issues, including litigation, political exposure and corruption

  • Experience writing high-quality and thorough investigative reports, with the ability to defend and explain findings.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be proactive in completing investigations under time-sensitive conditions

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, allowing the candidate to identify financial crime risks and address them accordingly

  • High competency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs software (desired)

  • Candidate should be fluent in English (Spanish is desirable)


Key Responsibilities



  • Receive, assess and process internal SARs and internal investigations in an accurate and timely manner

  • Ensure clear communication with all relevant parties

  • Present the findings from SARs and investigations to relevant stakeholders throughout the company.
