About this role

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for an Outreach and Sales Director - Float to join our Corporate team! This position creates and implements a marketing plan aimed at maintaining full occupancy for assigned Multi-site Ebenezer housing communities. This position is based primarily in the communities and significant time is devoted to working with external referral resources. This position maintains occupancy for the Ebenezer housing community via ongoing sales, marketing, and outreach efforts.

 

This sales and outreach schedule includes;

  • On call/Casual
  • Day shift
  • To maintain Casual status, employees must be willing to be available to work a minimum of three (3) shifts per month (two shifts must be weekend shifts) and one (1) Holiday shift per year. The weekend starts with the beginning of the night shift on Friday and ends with the beginning of the night shift on Sunday.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and supports a sales and marketing plan aimed at full occupancy for the assigned sites
  • Works with corporate marketing department to design and coordinate marketing & sales plans/initiatives
  • Develops and maintains effective, on-going relationships with external referral resources
  • Creates and maintains system for generating new leads
  • Ensures that marketing materials are current and available
  • Obtains and analyzes competitive pricing and market area trend information as it relates to the senior housing community
  • Schedules and conducts tours
  • Maintains current Occupancy Reporting requirements
  • Provides guidance and resources to residents/tenants/families with their transition into and out of their home
  • Organizes referral events, i.e. CEUs, seminars, hosting referral and community events
  • Assumes special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A. Marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years successful occupancy development experience
  • MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets & database management
  • Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years successful occupancy development experience
  • Experience in presentations using PowerPoint
  • Aging Services of Minnesota Sales and Marketing Certificate
