About this role

Job Overview

Ebenezer Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing Community (TCU/LTC) in Minneapolis, Minnesota! This role performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care & transitional care regulations and follows established policies and procedures.  

 

This nursing schedules include:

  • 56 hours every two weeks
  • Evening shift
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation

  • Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
  • Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
  • Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

 

Required:

  • MN LPN licensure
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
    • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice
  • 0-1 years of experience
  • Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines

Preferred:

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • MS Office, Excel, and Word
  • Point Click Care knowledge
  •
