We are currently looking to add a Project Engineer – Hydropower to our team!

The Project Engineer will actively collaborate on the bid and qualification of the company on major hydropower projects and will be able to transition to the execution of the projects that it has submitted to the prior.

The role will require being mobile within the country according to the projects being implemented.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate in project estimation and submissions;
  • Assist the team and determine the best strategies to meet the qualifications/bids;
  • Ensuring the quality of the Quote according to the client's requirements and according to the quality standards of the company;
  • Plan and ensure the proper coordination of work with the various stakeholders;
  • Plan, supervise and Participate in the development of construction methods and processes contractual requirements, while respecting the current health and safety requirements;
  • Participate in meetings with customers, engineers and project managers;
  • Assist, review and communicate technical issues and change requests to the client representative and follow up as necessary;
  • Obtain permits and the authorizations required for the execution of the work;
  • Follow up (validation of content) shop drawings and other documents contract requirements as required;
  • Participate in the realization and updating of project schedules.


Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering civil or construction management;
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in construction both in the field and at the bid level;
  • Experiment on large-scale hydroelectric projects;
  • Writing Experience bids;
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French and English);
  • Knowing what happened next Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access);
  • Knowledge in-depth use of all management software;
  • In-depth knowledge MS Project and AutoCAD is an asset.
