About the team and the role:

The Finance Manager will join our dynamic NA Finance team, supporting US, Canada and GBH markets and build financial operations, set up and track performance to drive better outcomes for our buyers from 190+ countries and drive GMV growth. This role's global impact is pivotal in building a truly global reach for eBay and generate the next wave of GMV growth. Reporting directly to the North America CFO, the Finance Manager will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and strategy.

What you will accomplish:

• Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, shaping our financial strategy and driving performance.
• Devise plans to optimize budgeting processes that align with our business goals, assess and measure impact and build proof of concept business cases.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on in-depth analysis and financial forecasts, presenting in strategic weekly/monthly/quarterly forums on our performance
• Become a trusted partner to senior leaders with strategic financial inputs, collaborate cross-functionally to improve business outcomes for Global Buying Hub as well as Canada, setting goals and tracking performance
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations to safeguard company interests and own OPEX end to end (including Month end close across multiple regions).
• Collaborate with a team of cross-functional finance professionals, fostering innovative work environment and leverage AI for scalable solutions to manage performance across our 190+ country footprint.

What you will bring:  

• Proven track record of success in finance management within a global or e-commerce industry setting with expense management and business partnering experience.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Exceptional analytical skills alongside strong communication abilities to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a finance team to achieve high performance.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and multitasking various projects with precision.
