In this function you will: We are looking for a Software Development Intern to contribute to the design and development of critical applications within a DERMS platform, working on projects related to energy systems interoperability, including: Development of microservices for managing and controlling distributed energy resources. Integration of industrial protocols and open standards. Potential front-end development for visualization and configuration tools. Design and develop full-stack features (Go, TypeScript/React). Participate in software architecture and integration of low-level components (C/C++). Implement microservices compliant with industry standards. Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban). Development on Linux, using Go, TypeScript/React, and Docker. Currently enrolled in an accredited university in Quebec. Familiarity with Linux and Docker. Interest in embedded systems and distributed architectures. Fluency in English and French (working proficiency in both languages). Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Québec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry. Be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. Be able to show up at our Brossard facilities at least 3 days per week. Understanding of microservices architectures and DevOps practices. Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
