About this role

The Machine Operator will be required to operate sheet metal fabrication machines, read shop orders, read and understand engineering drawings, perform quality checks, and use calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions. In this function, you will: Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum) Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering) A minimum of 6 months Machine Operating experience in a manufacturing environment. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. A minimum of 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment Experience reading blueprints Experience with calibration equipment such as calipers Prior SAP experience Proficient with basic computer applications. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment Ability to be self- driven
