About the role
Box Hill Hospital Special Care Nursery is a 12 bed unit that currently provides a level four high dependency neonatal service. We are working towards becoming a level five neonatal service. With support from our multi-skilled team you will be able to utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to provide specialised, family centred nursery care to babies (from 32 weeks gestation) with a range of clinical conditions (including Bubble CPAP and High flow).
As a team member of our unit, you will be part of a highly dedicated multi-disciplinary team incorporating medical, nursing, clerical and allied health professionals. Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
