Mental Health Clinician
Eastern Health
Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services and have a proud history of serving a diverse community.
Our Employee Value Proposition is “Being a part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts”.
This statement aligns with our promise to our communities, patients, consumers and staff that we will be HEALTHIER TOGETHER. Bolder than a vision for the future, our promise calls us to action. We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.
About the role
ICYMHS Community Teams are multi-disciplinary teams providing specialist mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions with young people up to the age of 25, presenting with a range of mental health concerns, high levels of distress and other psycho-social difficulties. We are looking for a mental health clinician to join the Chandler Community Team on a permanent full-time basis. The Chandler Community Team works closely with young people, their families and care systems to provide systemic, relational and recovery-based mental health care.
This is an opportunity for a mental health clinician to join a supportive and skilled team with sound structures to support clinician growth and development, such as professional, clinical and peer-based supervision and support for professional development and study.
About you
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
