About the role

Opportunities exist in our Medical Imaging Department at Box Hill for a permanent full time & part time positions for passionate Radiographers. The department is looking for enthusiastic Radiographers to become part of the team in a busy, dynamic and friendly environment. Eastern Health Medical Imaging carries out over 280,000 examinations per year and supports an ED 24/7. The successful applicants will have access to training on a broad range of state-of-the-art equipment with further opportunties for growth as we expand in 2026. 

As with all staff, the role requires participation in a full rotating roster that includes assisting in servicing the needs at Blackburn Public Surgical, Peter James Centre & Wantirna Health. Staff share the responsibilities of servicing a busy public hospital that includes weekends, on call, afternoon and night shifts.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Relevant qualifications & AHPRA in Medical Imaging
• Strong sense of customer focus and strive for excellence in patient care along with excellent communication skills
• You will be willing to work as part of a team or autonomously when required and be able to prioritise work flow effectively under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
• Ability and drive to make a difference then capitalise on the opportunity
• A willingness to fully participate in a rotating roster

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
