About this role

Mental Health Clinician – Case Manager  

 

  • Full-time | On-going position | Part-time positions will be considered for the successful candidate | 5 weeks annual leave + Monthly ADO
  • Box Hill location – Koonung Continuing Care Team  
  • $86,924 - $110,432 P.A. (paid pro rata) - dependent on qualifications and experience

About the role  

 

As a mental health clinician, you will partner with consumers, carers, families and other service providers to provide high-quality assessment, intensive case management and discipline-specific mental health assessment, treatment, consultation and community linkage services within a recovery-oriented model of care.  

 

 

About you  

 

To succeed in this role, you will possess qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with appropriate registration and experience as outlined in position description.  

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:  

  • Relevant registrations for your discipline/Current registration with AHPRA/eligibility for membership of AASW  
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of clinical assessment and interventions in mental health.  
  • Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support  
  • A solid commitment to high-quality care  
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team  
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
