You will be responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day functions of the Finance and Benefits Assessment Team within Adult Social Care & Health Financial Services. Ensuring that the teams is well supported and work is completed in line with departmental policy and relevant legislation. The post provides detailed advice and guidance for internal and external customers, ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered.
In this role, you will support the team carrying out financial assessments that determine individual contributions toward care and support services. You will work closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care & Health Financial Services to deliver accurate and timely assessments, ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and local policy. A key part of the role is ensuring that financial assessments reflect the most up-to-date personal and financial information, so the assessment accurately reflects the persons current circumstances and the correct contribution they are assessed to pay.
We offer flexible hybrid working, you will be provided with all the equipment you need to effectively complete your role both from home and at our office. There is a requirement to attend our office in Eastbourne one day each week, on a rota basis, as a minimum, to allow you to spend time collaborating with your colleagues.
Please note, during your induction and initial training period, daily attendance at our office for the first few weeks will be required to provide you with the best support and training.
