King Offa Nursery is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Apprentice to join our Early Years provision.

You have a genuine passion for early years

You are a team member with good communication skills and a clear vision for excellence
You have a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, or you currently hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification and would like to complete your Level 3 qualification
Early Years Practitioner:
Hours: full or part-time, term-time only, permanent
Pay grade: East Sussex Single Status Grade 3, Scale point 7 (FTE: £24,796.00)
Early Years Apprentice:
Hours: Full time, term-time only, fixed-term (37.5 hours per week) 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
Pay grade: Apprenticeship rates £7.55 per hour (£8 per hour from April 2026)
Please note: appointment to the role of Nursery Apprentice will initially be on a fixed term basis in line with the apprenticeship agreement.
