The Skylark Federation are looking for a motivated cleaning member of staff.  The position is to join our welcoming and friendly school at Barcombe CE School. 

We are a popular group of schools and we would love to welcome you to our Federation. 

The role of a cleaner is crucial to our school and they are an important member of our team. The work could be carried out in the morning or the evening. The contract is for term time and some holiday deep cleaning. We would love to welcome you to our school. All training and guidance will be provided for the successful candidate.

This is a role with an East Sussex permanent contract which includes holiday pay and a pension.

  • Hours of Work: Out of school time, as per mutual agreement


This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. 

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.  

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
