• Term time only (39wks, paid for 45 wks). Hours are approx. 08:40 - 15:10, five days (30hrs) a week, dependent on site.
The Role
This is a two year (part-time) Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification for 16-18 year old's from September 2026. The Apprenticeship Program is a structured qualification program providing hands-on experience within the school setting, alongside gaining a recognised qualification. As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and engaging with our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Providing support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks.
• Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitoring and recording student progress.
• Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup.
• Providing personal care.
• May be required to work at any of our six sites.
About You
This opportunity is available for candidates between the age of 16 and 18 years old.
We are looking for candidates who have:
• A genuine passion for education and the well-being of children
• A knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Commitment to completing coursework
