We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Management Team as an Operational Lead – Capital Programme.
Your role:
The post holder will be Working as part of the Councils Housing Investment team, the Operational Lead – Capital Programme will be custodian of the council’s stock condition information and develop investment plans to deliver high quality housing. This involves taking a lead role in developing, delivering and supporting the Councils’ investment programme and proactively managing the Housing portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a programme which delivers high quality, affordable investment programmes and providing support to the Property and Development Operational Leads to proactively manage the Council’s housing portfolio.
What you will need:
The successful candidate will have previous experience with management of property condition information, investment planning and contract administration using JCT or similar forms of building contracts and would have worked with building regulations and planning requirements relating to England. The post holder will have understanding of investment [planning, building practices, building performance and causes of damage to building fabric along with good people management skills, including the ability to motivate a team to perform to their optimum ability.
