About this role
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces
Remove dust or debris from surfaces to be painted.
Fill minor cracks and holes, sand, and apply primer if needed.
Cover floors and non-painted surfaces and fixtures as needed.
Remove or tape over light switch and outlet covers.
Painting
Apply paint evenly to painted surfaces (brush and roll, some spray may be required)
Use brushes and rollers.
Use ladders safely and based on manufacturer's direction.
Properly ventilate work area while performing work.
Cleaning Up
Remove all materials used to prepare and protect non-painted surfaces.
Remove all new paint material that ran over onto non-painted surfaces.
Leave work area clean with no debris.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
