The ideal candidate for this position will be a confident communicator and have a passion for cultivating strong cross-departmental relationships. This person understands the importance of knowing, understanding and clearly communicating Company policies, state and Federal Labor Laws in the midst of the day-to-day operations and challenges of the business.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Reporting to our Director of Talent Operations, this person will be responsible for supporting administration for our locations in TX, navigating a high-volume of employee relations, supporting local leadership in the daily people needs of the business and will work closely with our HR team to streamline processes across the organization.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Core Purpose:</strong>&nbsp;To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Duties And Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with local leadership to navigate high-volume, complex employee relations investigations including but not limited to theft, harassment and policy violations.</li> <li>Navigate LOA requests relevant to Company policy and local and federal requirements.</li> <li>Handle Workers Compensation Claims, including submitting claims, investigations, ADA conversations and managing claims to closure. Support OSHA 300 filings and maintaining logs.</li> <li>Clear understanding of and ability to properly communicate Company policies and procedures.</li> <li>Project ownership, driving them to completion while multi-tasking; proven to efficiently and effectively complete daily tasks and long-term projects.</li> <li>Benefits understanding, support benefits administration including Open Enrollment, ACA, and marketing benefits (with support of Brokers).</li> <li>Revisions to handbook and policies according to new laws, with support of counsel, including rolling out policy and procedure updates.</li> <li>Support various aspects of recruiting efforts, training, and system implementations.</li> <li>Stay up to date on the ever-changing laws in the states we operate in (currently AZ, CA, UT, NV, FL, and TX).</li> <li>&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5 years of HR experience.</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years' experience in People Operations/Human Resources in an HRBP or similar capacity.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of TX and federal labor laws and HR best practices.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors, i.e. calm, professional, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers, and vendors.</li> <li>Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.</li> <li>Previous experience delivering HR results in a multi-unit, consumer facing environment.</li> <li>Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.</li> <li>Excellent MS Office skills.</li> <li>And, of course, someone who embraces our Core Values!</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Role Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be willing/able to travel to local locations as needed for HR matters.</li> <li>Use of personal vehicle for local locations with relevant reimbursement.</li> <li>Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk throughout the workday.</li> <li>Ability to complete computer/desk work up to 8 hours a day.</li> <li>Ability to regularly lift 25+ pounds.</li> <li>Must successfully pass Background Check.</li> <li>Must be legally able to work in the United States.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Pay Range </div><div class="pay-range"><span>$80,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$85,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Benefits and Perks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A highly energetic and collaborative team.</li> <li>A management team that cares about your professional development.</li> <li>Free membership for you and plus one family member.</li> <li>Discounted Personal Training, and merchandise – including supplements.</li> <li>Employee referral program.</li> <li>Daily Pay offered - access your funds before payday.</li> <li>Competitive pay plus vacation, holiday, and sick pay.*</li> <li>Group Health, dental, vision, Supplemental Life, Employee Assistant Program and even Pet Insurance are offered!*</li> <li>401(k) + Company matching!*</li> <li>Personal education growth options with Sophia Learning.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">* Based on eligibility of tenure and full-time vs. part-time employment.</span></p> <p style="line-height: 1;"><sub>EōS Fitness is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
