E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV (EPPB), a subsidiary of E.ON Energy Projects GmbH, develops, builds, finances and operates decentralised energy generation plants for industrial customers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Since 2000, we realised projects of more than 1 gigawatt across Europe, of which four in the Benelux. Your Responsibilities

  • Coach, train, and inspire others to prioritize health and safety, apply guidelines in the daily work, and take decisive action to achieve Vision Zero
  • Provide coaching sessions and deliver impactful training on behavioral safety and life-saving rules
  • Provide expert advice on risk assessments and ensure environmental compliance
  • Investigate incidents, uncover root causes, and implement preventive measures that make a real difference
  • Ensure safety standards are met and propose smart, practical improvements
  • Support employees and management with the knowledge and tools to stay safe and compliant

 

Your Qualifications

  • Prevention advisor level 1 (or level 2 with a willingness to achieve level 1)
  • Work experience of at least 5 years in an industrial environment (preferably energy or process industry)
  • Fluent in Dutch (C2) and business fluent in English (C1), other language skills are a plus
  • Strong willingness to develop professional skills (e.g. project management, safety regulations)
  • Take full ownership of your tasks and responsibilities and deliver tangible results
  • Open and international minded personality, comfortable with working in a start-up environment with flat hierarchies; strong motivation and willing to roll up sleeves
