Dyson GSF

Dyson’s Group IT – Group Support Functions Team (GSF), has end-to-end accountability for the strategic roadmap, design, delivery, and support of all business applications enabling Dyson’s global planning, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, aftersales and business processes as well as HR, legal & finance functions.

Your Role

As a Solution Architect – Supply Chain Planning, you will lead the design and delivery of SAP IBP planning solutions, deeply integrated with manufacturing operations and SAP S/4HANA, bridging technology and business needs across global supply chain and production environments.  You will also support the GSF organisation and its architecture practices, aligning business needs with technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

·        Architect, design and delivery of end-to-end SAP IBP solutions for demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP planning.

·        Lead full lifecycle implementation of SAP IBP (demand, supply, inventory, S&OP).

·        Ensure seamless integration and connectivity between SAP IBP, S/4HANA, Ariba and third-party systems.

·        Working in alignment with the global architecture teams (solution, data, security, infrastructure, and integration) to oversee the architectural design in planning and manufacturing domains.

·        Working with third party technology vendors, system integrator and other partners to understand future trends, innovation, and opportunities to identify capability gaps, and build architecture roadmaps.

·        Acting as the design authority point of contact for business cases and projects within the assigned solution landscape.

·        Representing supply chain planning IT in global architecture governance forums and various design authority groups.

·        Acting as a contributing member of programme and project teams - from project inception to completion. 

·        Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures in line with the global IT strategy, working closely with the other Group IT functions. 

·        Developing and maintain architecture models, technology strategies and solution roadmaps that articulate and guide application strategy, in alignment with Dyson’s corporate strategy and blueprint. 

Essential:

·        Over 7 years’ solution architecture and/or consulting experience in similar industry with a dynamic global organisation.

·        Experience of SAP IBP with full-cycle implementations, including configuration and process design, with at least two SAP IBP end-to-end projects.

·        Solid grasp of demand planning, supply planning and S&OP processes.

·        Ability to translate business needs, identify technology, functionality and methods that could be of significant benefit to Dyson and drive those through into successful implementation.

·        Knowledge of SAP CI-DS or similar middleware for integration.

·        Outstanding interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

·        Working knowledge of the region as well as global regulation landscape. 

·        Experience in utilising an architecture framework and approaches (e.g. TOGAF) 

·        A strong desire to stay informed of technological developments and understanding their applicability to Dyson business problems and opportunities.
