Global Equipment Procurement team is the procurement function managing CAPEX & OPEX spending for Dyson manufacturing line globally. We are based in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and UK
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analytics Intern to support our procurement team and broader project goals through data-driven insights, process automation, and robust information management. This role will focus on creating interactive dashboards, creation of cost estimate tool, improving procurement business processes, and constructing a comprehensive parts database to strengthen our negotiation position on major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Tooling cost estimation Dashboard/ Tool Development:
Design/ create and maintain interactive dashboard/ Tool, which is used to provide estimated cost for Dyson production Mold tool
Able to continuously take in transacted tool cost as part of the database
Factor in material commodity index to ensure cost estimate reflect real world impact.
Ease of use to cater to large number of tools required for each project.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define dashboard requirements and continually enhance visualization and user experience.
Business Process Improvement:
Document and map current procurement processes.
Identify gaps and recommend improvements to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Assist in the development and rollout of new policies, SOPs, or standard templates.
Parts Database Maintenance:
Maintenance maintaining a centralized parts and materials database, capturing technical, commercial, and historical negotiation information.
Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accessibility to support better sourcing decisions and improve negotiation leverage.
Partner with engineering, operations, and sourcing teams to gather accurate parts data.
Cross-functional Support:
Provide analytical support and actionable insights to procurement, supply chain, and project teams.
Prepare data-backed presentations and reports to facilitate supplier negotiations and decision-making.
Independent, able to work to deliver project on timely basic
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate/ Tableau).
Experience with process mapping, automation tools (VBA, RPA, etc.), and data management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
