About this role

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Developers and Developers with Graphtalk skills to join our successful multinational team in India, who will take part in the Design, Implementation and support of one of the leading applications in DXC, part of global Insurance platform for product and policy administration.

  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure management with hands-on experience in following areas:
    • AWS Cloud
    • ITIL Service management
  • IT Experience:
    • Provide Level 2 cloud infrastructure support for cloud across all environments operating in the Cloud.
    • Investigates and resolve AWS-related technical issues and incidents.
    • Manage incidents to ensure resolution within SLAs and provide timely updates.
    • Deployment (DevOps tools and technologies)
    • Knowledge of Linux systems.
    • Flexible in working in rotational shifts.
    • Provide planning, communication, and reporting of day-to-day ticket metrics for daily huddles
    • Manage non-standard/complex major incidents, standard incidents, and service requests efficiently and expediently.
    • Ensure customer service satisfaction and enable continuous improvements.
    • Oversee higher complexity operational and preventive maintenance tasks.
    • Manage complex remedial and unscheduled urgent changes.
    • Accessible via a mobile device to support on-call escalations.
    • Participate in knowledge transfer – ensure timely and accurate communication of business objectives
    • Promote and support an environment that encourages productivity, innovation, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.
    • Handle deployment and operation of Cloud enabled applications and services in AWS and Private Cloud infrastructure.
    • Work within a global support team covering cloud operations.
    • Basic Network administration and Troubleshooting network and OS level issues.
    • Basic knowledge of CI/CD.
    • Experience working in one of the Ticketing tools (JIRA/Service Now/BMC Remedy)
    • Work in 24x7 rotational shifts.

 

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
• Proficiencies in data analysis and problem-solving
• A continuous learner that stays up-to-date with industry knowledge and technology
