About the Job 

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Florist to join our Housekeeping team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Fulfill all flower orders according to requisitions from various sections or outlets within the resort.

• Prepare daily flower expense reports and charge the various sections or outlets accordingly.

• Train and mentor florists on new techniques, styles, and trends in flower arranging, ensuring a high level of skill and expertise within the team

• Complete day-to-day activities following departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery to guests.

• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures and controls to uphold Jumeirah Group's commitment to providing world-class hospitality services.

• Always maintain sufficient florist supplies to fulfill orders as per requisitions, ensuring availability of items such as ribbons, wires, and wrapping paper.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• A few years of luxury hospitality experience in a similar role is required
• BSc in Hospitality or relevant field from an accredited and renowned university or college 
• Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate | Advanced)
• Technical and soft skills 
• Additional language will be a big advantage
