About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Mixologist to join the F&B Service team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 

• To deliver best in class drinks to specification consistently and have a good knowledge of all beverages beyond those stocked in the restaurant and has a working knowledge of classic cocktails and drinks.
• To assist the bar manager in managing stock, ordering, returns, and stock takes. Receive and log all deliveries.
• To have a full understanding of the brand concept, history and vision and can explain when asked.
• To have impeccable knowledge of all products in the portfolio and make all drinks as per the brand standard. 
• To understand and comply with all local licensing laws and to promote responsible service of alcohol.
• To lead by example with excellent customer service. To always aim to exceed expectation.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant role within the international luxury hospitality industry in a similar role.
• Fluency in English, with knowledge of an additional language (preferred) 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or any other relevant field
