About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Front Desk Manager to join Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest profiles and history records, including preferences and special requests, to ensure personalized guest experiences.
Coordinate with all departments to communicate guest requirements prior to arrival, overseeing VIP preparations, room readiness, and amenity arrangements.
Ensure a warm and professional welcome for all guests through courtesy calls, lobby presence, and special services for VIP and suite guests.
Oversee the timely delivery and quality of VIP amenities, long-stay guest touches, and guest cocktail arrangements in collaboration with relevant teams.
Supervise Guest Relations and Guest Services teams, remaining visible and accessible to in-house guests to gather feedback and uphold service standards.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Proven experience in Front Office or Guest Relations within a luxury or upscale hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to support and motivate front desk teams.
Highly guest-focused, with a demonstrated ability to manage VIP guests and resolve issues professionally.
Excellent communication and organizational skills; additional language skills are highly desirable.
