The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Finance team, a Senior Financial Analyst will provide full support to DTCC's FP&A's objectives. This includes developing budgets, forecasts and P&L management for different businesses and functions. It involves tracking performance vs. budgets and explaining variances and preparing financial performance presentations for senior management and board meetings. The overall objective is to partner with the business and functional managers to meet financial commitments and goals and assist management in making sound financial decisions. 

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze new project initiatives from an economic perspective
  • Ability to query, analyze and present data
  • Develop income statements, balance sheets and cash flows based on a set of assumptions
  • Investigate complex analysis to key business take-aways
  • Work across multiple channels to assist in ad-hoc projects involving M&A analysis, pricing, revenue analysis, process mapping and improvement, and developing/maintaining financial models and system implementation
  • Evaluates processes to drive efficiencies to deliver improved financial performance
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting (Masters/MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Financial Analysis/Accounting preferred
