DT Professional Services is seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator IV to support our NSWC team in Port Hueneme, CA. This position develops and leads the creation of highly complex, precision engineering drawings and models for advanced and original design projects.

DT Professional Services is seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator IV to support our NSWC team in Port Hueneme, CA. This position develops and leads the creation of highly complex, precision engineering drawings and models for advanced and original design projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise highly complex, original, and precision engineering drawings and 3D models for advanced design projects.
- Lead unusually difficult drafting assignments requiring independent judgment, technical expertise, and innovative problem-solving.
- Apply advanced proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) to develop accurate, standards-compliant design documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and project leads to translate complex concepts into detailed construction and manufacturing drawings.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree.
- Ten (10) or more years of experience preparing drawings or computer models of unusual, complex, or original designs that require a high degree of precision, performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting expertise.
- Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or equivalent is preferred
The compensation for this position: $37.58 Hourly
