As our Director GREW operational excellence, you will be responsible for directing and supporting regional GREW teams to ensure operational excellence—covering Safety, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Flexibility, Business alignment, proactive contract management, Wellbeing, and Sustainability. You will lead the implementation of strategic programs and develop a roadmap for FM service provision, overseeing outsourced FM service providers and ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, global environment.
Your key responsibilities
As Director GREW operational excellence, your main aim is to ensure FM operational excellence and develop maturity levels based on global standards. Key responsibilities include:
• FM Strategy & Operational Performance: Drive the performance of (outsourced) hard and soft service provision in line with contracts and SLAs. Develop next-generation FM outsourcing strategies, collect trends, and translate strategic objectives into KPIs and control mechanisms. You will lead the global IFM governance and frameworks across global, regional, and local levels, including clear escalation paths.
• Global Uniformity: Develop and implement global uniformity by sharing best practices, supporting colleagues and service providers, and integrating outsourced data management systems globally.
• Program Management: Lead global FM program planning, set up project teams, manage change and transition, and ensure risk, compliance, and quality criteria are met.
• Safety and Sustainability:
Own the global FM risk and compliance framework, including regulatory compliance, audits, control mechanisms, remediation tracking, and escalation of material operational risks. drives operational sustainability performance in outsourced operations, including energy, carbon, waste, supplier ESG compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Align with GREW and GREW COE leadership, inform business stakeholders, and ensure coordination and progress reporting on strategic programs.
• Innovation & Product Development: Initiate and monitor frameworks for facilities services, drive thematic programs (e.g., security, integrated facilities
• Finance: Calculate business cases for change plans, validate supplier offers, and oversee OPEX budgets, balancing risks, performance, and costs (TCO).

• Internal Stakeholders: Business Unit Leaders, head of GREW, Region and country leaders, GREW leadership team.
• Internal Partners: GREW leadership team, Indirect Procurement, Finance & HR Business Partners, GREW Teams.
• External: experts in workplace analytics, workplace sustainability and workplace effectiveness, GREW partners/ suppliers. Global Real Estate & capital project service providers and IFM supplier companies.

• A performance driven individual with a strong commercial outlook, familiar working in strategic management and planning, data driven, environment working with a wide range of internal & external service providers and technical experts.
• International leadership in a relevant area of business with keen sense of self-awareness & purpose, a passion for making a difference and an active curiosity in all aspects of operational service delivery and workplace innovation.
• Strong communication skills and leadership, able to create a shared vision for success, fostering collaborations across geographies, business units and multiple operating
• A bachelor’s degree in real estate and/or Facilities Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience in global/regional/sub-region leadership, integrated service delivery, partner governance, and stakeholder management.
• Advantage: Experience in commercial real estate/workplace management.
