Job Title – Marketing & BD Lead                   

Location – Shanghai, China

 

The animal nutrition industry China is highly dynamic under the mega trend of consolidation, presenting significant opportunities and challenging for ANHnewco to further grow and extend its value proposition to customers. In developed markets the industry is consolidating, customer needs are becoming increasingly sophisticated around services, data and digital offerings driven by both economic and competition landscape changes. In emerging markets demand for animal protein is increasing and the industry is professionalizing, creating an opportunity for leading players to capture share.   

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Understands local species markets, customer needs, and business drivers, and works closely with local teams to align priorities.
  • Co-develops species strategies that align local market requirements with global direction.
  • Develops and executes species activation plans and campaigns in collaboration with local sales teams.
  • Engages key accounts and identifies opportunities to integrate products, services, and know‑how into differentiated nutrition and health solutions.
  • Creates solution concepts supported by technical data, and packages them into compelling value propositions and sales‑enabling materials.
  • Leads species expert communities, delivers training and knowledge sharing, and manages species‑driven innovation and regional projects.

You bring

 

  • Strong strategic product marketing background with deep 4P management expertise; sales experience is a plus.
  • Master’s degree or above in nutrition, management, science & technology, or related fields; agroscience or pharmaceutical background preferred.
  • Proven ability to apply marketing concepts, tools, and practices in a technical, solution‑selling environment; business qualifications or demonstrated commercial experience are beneficial.
  • Deep product and pricing management expertise, combined with structured strategic thinking.
  • 10+ years of industry experience and 5+ years of people management experience, including leading teams of 10+ members.
  • Strong ability to articulate and translate technical information into business language; fluent English and effective multi‑stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
