Job Title: Associate Director GES MDM Solutions Location: Hyderabad, India The elevator pitch of the role The GES‑MDM Solutions Associate Director leads the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions landscape. The role is accountable for ensuring high data quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across global master data platforms, while managing a geographically distributed technical team and partnering closely with business, IT, and data stakeholders to support strategic initiatives such as M&A, data governance, and digital transformation. Your key responsibilities Lead global MDM solution design and delivery Own the design, implementation, and support of the master data hub (golden record repository) and related MDM solutions in Informatica and SAP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business needs Drive master data conversion and large‑scale initiatives Lead and execute MDM data conversion activities to support mass master data changes, including M&A programs, using standardized data conversion frameworks and tools. Ensure data quality and governance frameworks Collaborate with Data and AI teams to design, implement, and support enterprise data quality frameworks, while enabling and supporting business users and an active data steward community Manage MDM platforms, tools, and integrations Oversee demand management tools and workflows (e.g., ServiceNow), Informatica integrations, system connectivity, authorizations, scheduling, and release management in close partnership with IT and D&T teams. Lead and develop a global MDM technical team Hire, manage, and develop a multi‑location MDM technical team (approximately 17 people), fostering strong people management, capability growth, and knowledge retention in line with company values and HR policies. Monitor performance, stakeholders, and continuous improvement Manage a portfolio of initiatives, track KPIs such as project delivery, data quality metrics, and customer satisfaction, and engage with senior stakeholders (business leaders, data owners, IT, and M&A governance) to continuously improve MDM services and outcomes. You bring Bachelor's or master's degree in IT (or equivalent professional experience) with approximately 15 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in Master Data Management within an international organization. Solid technical understanding of enterprise system landscapes, particularly SAP and Informatica, enabling effective oversight of MDM solutions and platforms. Demonstrated success in people management, with the ability to shape teams, manage and develop individuals, and retain critical knowledge. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, supported by intellectual rigor to address complex data, system, and organizational challenges. Fluent in English (written and spoken), with very good communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a proven capability to foster cross‑functional collaboration toward shared goals. Ability to drive change by inspiring confidence and continuous improvement, while maintaining a pragmatic, service‑oriented, and solution‑focused approach.
