Reports to: Asst. Food & Beverage Manager, Director of Food and Beverage
As Beverage Manager, you will lead the Beverage department in providing friendly, efficient and diligent service to every guest, every time, whilst maintaining a steady hold on the operational functions and staffing of the department
Responsibilities include:
Manage operations and staffing for multiple bars, banquets, restaurants, etc. according to the forecasted and actual needs of the resort.
Ensure bartenders have required licenses, and scrupulously follow all policies, rules, and regulations.
Maintain standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.
Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to ensure associate motivation, training, and development.
Manage in compliance with established labor, wage, hour and Driftwood-related regulations and policies.
Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the beverage department.
Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the restaurant that relate to the overall objectives of the hotel.
Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget.
Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and inventory control.
Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
Accurately use various office and accounting software
QualificationsPersonal Skills
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.
Ability to assist with various accounting department tasks as needed.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates and holds them accountable.
Must have a valid Missouri Class E driver’s license
Understands and communicates the Margaritaville Lake Resort Mission.
Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.

Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
Relevant training and experience required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work outside in extreme heat
Minimum lifting and/or pulling of 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
If weight exceeds 40 pounds, asking for assistance is required.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
Reading hearing, writing.
