Responsibilities/Qualifications
First Equity Mortgage, a subsidiary of Drees Homes, is seeking a Processing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for processing mortgage loans in a timely manner while providing professional, prompt, and courteous service to our customers. Key Responsibilities:- Obtain any license required by regulatory agencies to perform the job along with continuing education hours needed to maintain the license
- Process loans according to First Equity procedures including gathering documentation, ordering 3rd party supporting documentation, submission of loans to underwriting and clearing any quality control or closing conditions
- Underwrite appraisals for accuracy
- Submit fully processed loans ready to underwriting within timing requirements
- Submit approved loans to closing
- Assist with clearing conditions on loans suspended by investors
- Various other duties as assigned
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Mortgage lending and loan processing experience
- Conventional and government loan knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and follow through to a satisfactory conclusion
- Strong computer skills; experience with Encompass helpful
- Must be organized, detail-minded and adaptable
- Upbeat, positive, can-do attitude
