We have a new opportunity as a Project Engineer with our manufacturing team. We're searching for someone that has a background as a commercial construction Superintendent, ideally with manufacturing leadership experienceSomeone who is interested in keeping things running smoothly and is always on the lookout for how to make things better and more efficient. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • None. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Review and understand construction contract documents. 

  • Generate track, log, and review RFI’s. 

  • Obtain, review, and document project submittals. 

  • Review and track project ASI, and similar change documentation. 

  • Schedule, host, and document internal project team meetings. 

  • Review and coordinate shop drawings and spool sheets across internal teams. 

  • Complete material takeoffs and procurement logs. 

  • Assist PM in coordination with jobsite install teams. 

  • Tracks vendor/subcontractor schedules and expedites. 

  • Coordinates with fabrication shop for production handoffs and RFI’s. 

  • Gathers and submits project closeout documentation. 

  • Supports and interacts with internal and external team members. 

  • Seeks opportunities to take leadership roles in internal teams to grow capacity. 

  • Occasional travel to project sites for coordination and planning purposes. 

Required Skills & Abilities: 

  • A Strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude. 

  • Willingness to read into complex issues and learn. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of products and Revu BlueBeam. 

  • Revit or Autocad experience a plus. 

  • Procore experience a plus. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or 3+ years related construction experience. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
