About this role
DP World is looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our Maintenance team at Fisherman Islands Terminal. This is a part-time role with strong earning potential through additional hours and penalty-rate shifts.
You’ll work on large-scale terminal equipment in a safety-first, well-resourced industrial environment, supported by an experienced team and modern systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on terminal equipment
- Planned and reactive maintenance to engineering standards
- Breakdown response to minimise operational downtime
- Use of CMMS for job cards and parts management
- Ensure all equipment is tested and safe before return to service
- Relief Leading Hand / Shift Supervisor duties when required
About You
- QLD A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in heavy industrial or fixed plant environments
- Confident with fault finding, diagnostics, and electrical drawings
- Experience with Siemens / Omron PLCs and AC drives (highly regarded)
- Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented
- Flexible to work day/night shifts and weekends
- Hold or be eligible for an MSIC

- The Electrical Tradesperson will perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on terminal equipment. They will also respond to breakdowns to minimize operational downtime and ensure equipment safety.
