The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking several Trade Assistant’s to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The initial work scope includes routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of equipment types such as dust and diesel systems, chutes & liners, and conveyor roller. You will support our trades team across multiple disciplines, carrying out tasks and labouring duties. To be successful in this role you will need to available from 23rd February for inductions, picking up PPE and onboarding. Successful candidates will also join our talent pools to be used in future works across remote and regional WA.
About You
- Construction Induction / White Card
- Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years
- Fire Certificate within 5 years
- MSIC – Highly desirable
- Prior experience in a FIFO role performing Trade Assistant duties
