The Opportunity | Te Kōwhiringa
As a Driver Operator for one of the largest infrastructure business’ in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, the operation of heavy machinery and preparation of sites. Our team in Penrose are looking for a motivated Tipper Driver Operator to join the team. You will be responsible for operating the Tipper truck to transport and unload loose earth, and support with general labouring work when required.
Important Skills | Nga Pūkenga Matu
To be successful within this role we are looking for someone who has experience operating civil machinery, along with the below:
Full Class 4 or 5 license
At least 2 years of experience operating Tipper trucks
Appropriate Driver’s License/s Class 4/5
- Exposure to Milling and Paving works would be a advantage, but training can be given to the right candidate
The ability to work hands-on as a team player
Good timekeeping skills – punctuality and reliability is key!
