About this role
Downer's Road Maintenance & ITS division is responsible for maintaining and responding to incidents on the Citylink network in Melbourne. Our work ensures a high level of reliability and presentation of assets, including CityLink and West Gate Tunnel.
We're looking for a dedicated Team Leader to guide our Road Maintenance team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, leading a team to success, and prioritising workplace safety.
What You'll Bring:
Experience in leading or supervising landscaping/ civil maintenance crews, planning work, and interacting with the public. Works include landscaping, fence repairs and graffiti removal.
A drive for accountability and commitment to quality outcomes, ensuring projects are completed on time.
Strong planning, scheduling and crew oversight skills.
A proven track record of building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
A strong safety focus, with active participation in Downer's Zero Harm initiatives.
