We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for a Service Delivery Coordinator to join our Department of Corrections and Ministry of Justice team. Reporting to the National Administration Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the effective delivery of high-quality outcomes that underpin our essential services. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination and continuous improvement of service delivery across this critical portfolio.
Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Downer holds a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice that proactively manages and delivers to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 98 courts and 141 community correctional sites.
In this role, you will provide administrative services to support the contract by having great attention to detail. This role will suit a dynamic person who has a real interest in supporting the business and making things happen!
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Champion Health and Safety and continuous improvement
Deliver administration functions with quality and within agreed time frames.
Develop strong, collaborative Customer relationships ensuring Customer interactions are positive and constructive.
Deliver all services in accordance with our Downer Values
To manage workloads in accordance with business requirements and in time for month end business processes.

A minimum 2-year administrative experience in a busy environment
A mature approach to work, coupled with an ability to demonstrate initiative.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
An ability to prioritise tasks in line with team output requirements, coupled with the ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Team player with a dedication to providing quality customer service.
Experienced in Microsoft applications in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
