About this role

Confluence Water, a Downer, Ventia and Jacobs Joint Venture, is one of three regional consortia delivering design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services for Sydney Water. As the North Delivery team, we stretch from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River, including the Hills Shire. Confluence Water is Sydney Water's partner responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works as part of a 10-year program.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Advisor. In this role you will be responsible for supporting project teams and the quality team in meeting their quality and system requirements. This includes conducting project site inspections, mentoring project team members on quality and system processes, reviewing project quality documents (including, but not limited to, ITPs and ITRs), providing quality training, and supporting the quality and systems team with initiatives.

This is a permanent position reporting to the Quality Manager, and you’ll be part of a collaborative, close-knit team where your contributions truly make a difference.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review and provide support for project quality system documentation and processes such as quality management plans and associated procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), inspection test records (ITRs), request for information (RFI), manufacturer’s data report (MDR), incoming goods checks, calibration reports, material testing and inspection reports. 
  • Lead/facilitate quality event investigations.
  • Develop and communicate lessons learnt.
  • Plan and lead quality audits.
  • Support project teams in responding to non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Conduct regular project site and contractor/supplier quality reviews and inspections. 

What You Will Bring 

  • Experience in quality & systems management within the construction industry or other related field.
  • Experience and qualifications in quality auditing.
  • Experience in quality event investigations.
  • Demonstrated management and organisational skills. 
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
