Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As a Planned Works Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering planned and construction activities across the Whangārei water networks. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while meeting client expectations and contractual targets.
This role involves planning, organising and supervising day-to-day operations, coordinating people, plant and subcontractors, and ensuring accurate field reporting and documentation. From time to time, you may also assist with unplanned or reactive works as operational demands require.
This is a fixed-term position.
Mōu koe | About You
You’re an experienced supervisor with a strong background in water reticulation and a hands-on leadership style. You take pride in delivering quality outcomes, supporting your teams, and maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
You’ll bring:
- National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 4 (Supervisor) or equivalent experience
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2, RTW, traffic management, confined spaces training an advantage)
- Proven experience supervising water reticulation crews
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience allocating resources and coordinating people, plant and subcontractors
Strong computer skills, including mobile field devices and documentation systems
