Are you a qualified electrician with leadership skills and experience in ITS (Intelligent Transport Solutions)? We are seeking a proactive and experienced ITS Supervisor to join our team in Queenstown. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and supervise electrical work while gaining insights into project and contract operations.

Key responsibilities of this role also include: 

• Lead a team of electrical workers, ensuring high standards of workmanship and productivity. Oversee daily activities, monitor subcontractor performance, and ensure all operations meet health, safety, and environmental standards
• Assist Project and Contract Managers with documentation, including contracts, claims, and insurance agreements. Help prepare and manager monthly progress claims
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, anticipating and resolving any issues. 
• Foster a respectful and supportive team environment, monitor staff training, and contribute to the development of your team’s skills and performance 
• Promote and drive a culture of safety, ensuring all operations adhere to Zero Harm practices, environmental standards, and quality assurance measures. 

 

Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua

• EWRB Practicing License as an Electrician (E) or Electrical Engineer (EE) 
• At least one year of experience working in ITS Maintenance Contracts 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, monitor, and develop teams 
• Health and Safety knowledge, including experience working at heights (advantageous) 
• Current NZ Drivers License
