Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Downer are proudly supporting a range of exciting projects. The Downer South division is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across the country. We are looking for an experienced or up-and-coming Driver Operator.
You will assist with a diverse range of construction, renewal, and maintenance projects across the Wellington region. Working alongside our dedicated team you may operate machinery including excavators, rollers, graders, and trucks but will also use hand tools from time to time to get the job done.

You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you.
Must have a Class 4 Licence, WTR preferred
Experience in reversing, tipping and positioning trucks correctly in job sites
Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit (able to assist with manual tasks – loading/unloading, ground crew support
Good knowledge on road safety protocols, pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Be reliable and hard working
Flexibility when it comes to working hours
