About the Team


Our Advertising & Promotions team broadly operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences.  We provide digital solutions to help advertisers reach DoorDash audiences. 


The Ads Platform Strategy & Operations team is responsible for: 1) Driving sales and campaign lifecycle efficiency via automation & process optimization, 2) Building the platform foundation to help us scale, and 3) Creating simple self-serve tools for Merchants to drive GMV growth. 


About the Role


As an Associate Manager on the Ads Platform S&O team, you’ll work cross-functionally to develop processes and tools that allow for our business to scale during a period of hypergrowth. Specifically, your work will improve how we bring Ads & Promos campaigns to life across Sales, Insights, and Ad Operations along with Product, Strategy & Operations, Accounting, Finance and more. Specific areas of focus will include: 



  • Leveraging Gen AI to revolutionize how we sell, build, and optimize campaigns as this will be instrumental in driving scalability and shaping the future of our Ads Platform

  • Implementing, managing, and scaling sales & operations via offshore resources, automation tools, and streamlined end-to-end processes

  • Partnering with sales and merchants to identify product-market fit for key resources and streamline go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption

  • Scoping and building the tooling and efficiency roadmap leveraging both internal and external resourcing

  • You have 4-6+ years of experience in strategy & operations / product management / product marketing / business operations / management consulting or related experience (preferably in the advertising or ad tech industry)

  • You are a problem solver with expertise in process design & optimization and love improving inefficiencies

  • You have a strong interest or experience in leveraging AI and other emerging technology to solve business problems

  • You get excited by working with systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, and internal tools

  • You thrive while wearing multiple hats and working across a variety of projects. teams, and workstreams

  • You are an analytical thinker who can distill complex data (Excel/Google Sheets/SQL) into actionable recommendations 

  • You have your Bachelor’s degree


 

Compensation


The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.


In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
