We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Product Design Engineer to join our Design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining product Designs, drawings, creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supporting product life cycle management activities. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure that product documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update 3D models and 2D drawings to support engineering changes.
• Ensure models and drawings meet accuracy, tolerancing, and company/industry standards.
• Create, revise, and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing products.
• Enter and maintain components, part numbers, and BOM structures in Oracle ERP.
• Ensure alignment between 3D models, drawings, and BOM documentation.
• Support product lifecycle management by implementing approved design updates.
• Participate in engineering change processes and manage documentation updates.
• Implement design improvements addressing manufacturability, quality, or cost issues.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure effective product support.

    
Minimum Qualifiations: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in CAD software ( Autodesk Inventor, or similar).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and revision control.
• Experience with BOM creation and management in PLM/ERP systems. 
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools & Processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Experience in a regulated or high‑purity industries (aseptic conditions, pharma, medical, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of materials, mechanical components, and assembly methods.
