Domtar - Howe Sound Mill currently has an opening in our Maintenance Department for a Red Seal certified Heavy Duty Mechanic
This is a bargaining unit position with a wag eof $48.66/hr. A competitive and comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental, vision care and pension plan is included
The schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm. Overtime is compensated as per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
Required Skills and Qulaifications:
Must hold an Inter-provincial Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal ticket
Experience with Industrial mobile equipment
Superior troubleshooting, machine diagnostic and repair skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be a safety leader by adhering to and by meeting all safety requirements and policies
