Role and responsibilities
Docyt’s engineering team is looking for a self-driven and motivated remote Senior DevOps Engineer who will help us to get our platform to the next level by improving our infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and making sure that our systems are reliable, fast, and secure. All candidates should have at least 8 years of past DevOps experience, have a good understanding of agile software delivery workflows, and should be very familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud platform (EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, IAM, RDS)
- Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation)
- In-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in automating the configuration and management of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack)
- Proficiency in GIT and BitBucket for version control.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, groovy)
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Any SQL database (Postgres, MySQL)
- Proficiency in scripting and coding languages (Shell, Groovy, Ruby, Python, golang, or other)
- Working hours must have an overlap with the US Central Time morning (8am-12pm CT).
- Good written English
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
