Your Responsibilities

As an experienced "Software-Architect (m/f/d)" you are responsible for the solution and integration architecture as well as for the technologies used by DocuWare.

• You will be responsible for designing the architecture roadmap - providing authoritative support for the architecture changes required for the DevOps transition.  
• In addition, your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining architecture and technology documentation.
• You will be responsible for performing technology analysis and making decisions on the use of new technologies and integration scenarios.
• Consulting and supporting the development teams in analyzing business requirements and technology selection is also part of your activities. 
• You are a support in the development of solution concepts and take responsibility for the overall architecture of the DocuWare Cloud. 
• You are responsible for the development of prototypes.

What you need to succeed

• You have a strong knowledge of software development practices and software architecture design processes and demonstrate a good understanding of web and cloud technologies. 
• You want to drive the development of a microservice architecture.
• You have experience in leading software development projects - development using cutting-edge technologies and ideally have knowledge of container technologies.
• You have already been able to gain experience with DevOps. 
• You have a degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Your German and English skills are very good, both written and spoken.
• You are an organizational talent, as well as you excel in communication and presentation skills.
• You have analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high degree of social competence and the ability to work in a team.
