Responsibilities: 

Operational Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide senior-level oversight of assembly, dishwashing, and warehouse alley operations to ensure seamless end-to-end catering support

  • Ensure daily operational readiness to meet flight schedules, volume fluctuations, and customer requirements

  • Establish operational priorities and allocate resources to meet on-time performance targets

  • Serve as escalation point for operational challenges, service disruptions, and urgent airline needs

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety (HACCP), hygiene, aviation security, health & safety, and regulatory standards

  • Lead and support internal and external audits, inspections, and customer reviews

  • Ensure proper sanitation, equipment handling, and waste management across dishwashing and warehouse operations

  • Promote a strong food safety and safety-first culture across all operational teams

People Management & Development

  • Lead and mentor department managers and supervisors across assembly, dishwashing, and warehouse areas

  • Drive workforce planning, labor optimization, and shift scheduling to meet operational demands

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning for leadership roles

  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions as required

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Oversee warehouse alley operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and dispatch support

  • Ensure accurate inventory control, proper stock rotation, and minimization of loss or damage

  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure material availability

  • Monitor equipment flow, cleanliness, and asset control throughout the operation

Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and productivity targets

  • Analyze KPIs related to efficiency, waste, quality, safety, and on-time performance

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance

  • Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior leadership

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with planning, culinary, quality assurance, engineering, logistics, and customer service teams

  • Ensure alignment between warehouse flow, dishwashing turnaround, and assembly output

  • Communicate operational changes, airline requirements, and strategic initiatives effectively

Continuous Improvement & Strategy

  • Lead process improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

  • Drive standardization of procedures and best practices across all operational areas

  • Support implementation of new airline programs, equipment, technology, or facility upgrades

  • Contribute to long-term operational strategy and capacity planning

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain, hospitality, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in inflight catering, food manufacturing, logistics, or aviation-related operations

  • Proven senior management experience overseeing multi-department operations

  • Strong understanding of inflight catering workflows, equipment handling, and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and production tracking tool

  • Strategic and operational leadership skills

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to manage complex, high-volume operations under tight deadlines

  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs

  • Proficiency with operational systems, reporting tools, and MS Office

  • Salary pay range: $115,000 – $120,000
