JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job title

Pot Washer

Reports to

Cleaning & Sanitation Supervisor

 

Position Purpose:

Maintains daily cleaning of kitchen sheet pans, pots, skillets, basins, carts, and racks, together with kitchen machinery and all floors, walls, fridges, shelving, drains, etc. Organizes and maintains chemical stocks.

70 %    Washes/runs all dirty equipment (Pots, Pans, Plates, and cookware) through the dishwashing machine. Stacks and sorts clean equipment according to company specifications and moves all washed articles into the respective areas. Cleans drains and machines at end of shift and sanitizing work area as needed.

 

30 %    Complies with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures. Reports problems with the food safety management system to their supervisor and the hygiene and food safety team. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education & Experience

 

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pot washer, cleaner, or housekeeping attendant preferred.
