Responsibilities: 

Operations & Assembly Management

  • Manage daily operations of the equipment and beverages assembly area, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of flight requirements

  • Oversee the assembly of beverages, bar carts, equipment, and ancillary items according to airline specifications and service standards

  • Ensure all items are correctly packed, labeled, sealed, and staged for dispatch

  • Monitor workflow to meet strict flight schedules and turnaround times

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene (HACCP), aviation security, and company policies

  • Conduct routine quality checks to verify accuracy, cleanliness, and completeness of assembled items

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverage products and equipment

  • Address and resolve quality issues, discrepancies, or non-conformances promptly

Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise, schedule, and lead assembly staff, including team leads and associates

  • Train employees on assembly procedures, airline specifications, safety standards, and best practices

  • Monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations

  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Inventory & Equipment Control

  • Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure availability of beverages, equipment, and supplies

  • Monitor usage, minimize waste, and report shortages or damages

  • Ensure proper cleaning, handling, and maintenance of catering equipment and carts

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with production, planning, logistics, and dispatch teams to align operations

  • Communicate changes in flight schedules, customer requirements, or priorities to assembly teams

  • Prepare reports on productivity, errors, incidents, and operational performance

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and labor utilization

  • Support implementation of new processes, airline programs, or operational changes

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and customer reviews as required 

 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality, logistics, or operations management preferred

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in inflight catering, food production, assembly, or warehouse operations

  • Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment

  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and aviation security standards

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and production tracking tool
